THURSDAY SOCIAL MIXED DOUBLES
On Thursday 25 May, the club started a social mixed doubles bash from 7pm until 9pm. Like our Sunday afternoon social format, this is the perfect opportunity for some winter tennis. It's great excuse to drag along some new, old, former players into the club who are too busy in the weekends but are after a regular social hit once a week, that could lead them to more!
These evenings will run every Thursday through to September, so come on down and enjoy a run around.
This is a fun, social afternoon of mixed doubles, starting at 3pm in the summer* (2pm in the winter), finishing up around 5pm. Come along and put your name up on the board - you will be partnered with people of similar ability. Games are approximately 20 minutes long before the bell rings and teams are mixed up again. Then there is plenty of time for a few drinks and some nibbles in the bar area!
*Effective Daylight Saving
If you want a game against some other blokes, come along on Monday nights. Men's night starts at 7pm and it is on a casual basis, so just turn up. Contact Clive for more details on firstname.lastname@example.org / 027 292 2284.
