INTERCLUB
Interclub is finished for the 2011 season. Belmont teams did well overall, check out the final results below. Big thanks to Debbie Timmins and Clive Melling for all their hard work organising the teams and managing the teams throughout the season.
MIDWEEK LADIES
Belmont Midweek Ladies are represented in all the Grades (Premier through to D1) this season. Please click here to see the latest results as published on the North Shore Ladies Day Tennis site. Matches are played on either Monday or Tuesday mornings. Join us at our Club Mornings, every Wednesday 9-11am for a few games of social doubles play. Visitors, Easi Tennis graduates and new members are always welcome. Contact Helen on 445 7365 for more info.
MEN'S NIGHT
If you want a game against some other blokes, come along on Monday nights. Men's night starts at 7pm and it is on a casual basis, so just turn up. Contact Clive for more details on 027 292 2284.
SUNDAY DOUBLES
This is a fun, social afternoon of mixed doubles, starting at 3pm in the summer (2pm in the winter), finishing up around 5pm. Come along and put your name up on the board - you will be partnered with people of similar ability. Games are approximately 20 minutes long before the bell rings and teams are mixed up again. Then there is plenty of time for a few drinks and some nibbles in the bar area!
THURSDAY NIGHT DOUBLES
An alternative (or addition) to Sunday Doubles, Thursday night doubles starts at 7pm and runs in a similar format. No need to book, just turn up and play.
BUSINESS HOUSE
Unfortunately the 2010 Business House tournament was hampered by bad weather and only partially completed. Sadly the decision had to be made to not finish this tournament in 2011. Any future Business House tournaments will be advertised well in advance so keep an eye on the website or noticeboard at the club.
